Even though we are apart- both in distance and in heart, some part of me still believes that we will be together Somehow I believe that we were made for each other and it’s our own pain from our pasts that have driven us apart Somehow I reckon that we are better loving each other than loving someone else- and that no one could give us the genuine love that both of us seek, one that was pure - desperate - searching. I’ll go on to say again that though I hate him, there’s something within me that wants to tell me that I was made for him, in a human connection as we’ll never subtract the presence of the Lord’s, but that I was to be given to one man - and that was him I believe so much things, of singularity - with him, but is it just nostalgia for what was or is it definite- did God had sent us to heal each other by instead we had destroyed? Is there time to fix what was misplaced? Is there an us in the future? I pray there is and that that future is close
A poem about separation, nostalgia, faith, and the hope of finding each other again.
